Kaleb: "Yep."
Mommy: "Cool. Were you excited?"
Kaleb: "Yeah. I'm still her boyfriend, but I don't think she's still my girlfriend."
Mommy: "What do you mean? How do you know?"
Kaleb: "She usually says it a lot and today she didn't say it."
Mommy: "I'm sorry buddy, how does that make you feel?"
Kaleb: "A little bit sad."
Mommy: "Wow bud, do you think you're still friends?"
Kaleb: "Oh, definitely, great friends, maybe best friends."
Mommy: "I'm so glad"
