Kaleb: "I think that man was blind because he didn't eat any carrots."

Mommy: "You mean the one from the Bible?"

Kaleb: "Yep (like duh, mom!)"

Mommy: "What is your full name?"

Emmy: "Emmy Alan Mann."

We're not sure what sort of accent it is, Boston, New York...

"Aunt Mo" (Aunt Mar)

"Duh" (Door...used to be "Doo")

"Bruddah" (Brother)

"Moah" (More...sometimes is "moi")

Mommy: "Kaleb, what's going on? You seem upset."

Kaleb: "I'm scared"

Mommy: "What are you feeling scared of?"

Kaleb: "I'm scared for the people at the fire because I really care for people."

Kaleb: "Mrs. Bukowski (one of his teachers), I'm a really fast runner."

Mrs. Bukowski: "Oh really?"

Kaleb: "I run for UCLA and I always beat USC."

Emmy (picking up her telephone): "Hello, Antie Pologie."

Mommy: "Who is Antie Pologie?"

Emmy: "One of my friends."

Mommy: "Oh."

Mommy (reading a story): "Cinderella was kind and gentle."

Emmy: "Mommy, this story is about me."

Mommy: "Are you kind and gentle."

Emmy: "Yes. But sometimes I'm mean."

Mommy: "When is that?"

Emmy: "When I hit my brother and you say, 'Emmy, take a time-out."

Kaleb: "Dear God, thank you for dinner, thank you for our food, and help Daddy's tummy feel better. Amen."

"We forgot to pray for dinner tonight, so I just put it in there."
